Warm water, powered by the sun
A solar pool heating system is beautifully simple. Your existing pool pump sends water up to a bank of solar collectors mounted on the roof. As the water flows through the panels the sun warms it, and it returns to the pool slightly warmer than it left. Repeat that over a day of filtration and the whole pool climbs into comfortable swimming range.
Because the panels rely on the pump you already run, there is no charge to use sunlight and no new running cost. There is no element to burn out, no gas bottle to refill, and nothing that needs servicing every season. It is reliable equipment that asks very little of you once it is on the roof.
