Paving around your pool, put back properly

A heating installation sometimes means opening the ground. This is the team that closes it again — and, if you want, upgrades the surround while everything is already open.

Why we do our own paving work

Running flow and return lines between the pool plant and the roof occasionally calls for a trench. Where that crosses paving, a driveway or a lawn, most installers cut the surface and leave the repair to someone else. That is where jobs go wrong: a patched strip that never matches, a section that sinks after the first winter rain, and two contractors blaming each other.

We keep the work in-house. The surface is lifted, the pipework is laid at the right depth, the trench is backfilled and compacted, and the paving goes back the way it came up. You get one team, one standard and one point of accountability.

It also opens a door. With the ground already open and a paving crew already on site, upgrading the pool surround — or the whole yard — costs far less disruption than doing it as a separate project later.

What we commit to

  • Surfaces lifted carefully, kept aside and relaid rather than dumped
  • Trenches backfilled and compacted so the surface does not settle later
  • Existing bricks and pavers reused wherever they are still sound
  • Clean edges against the pool coping, steps and boundary walls
  • Site swept and rubble removed before we leave

What the paving team handles

Reinstatement after pipework

When a heating install needs a trench across paving, lawn or a driveway, the same team that dug it puts it back. No handover to a third party, no waiting weeks for a patch.

Pool surrounds

New paving around the pool edge — the area that takes the most wear and shows every shortcut. Laid level, drained away from the pool and finished neatly at the coping.

Extended yard paving

On request we carry the same work through the rest of the yard: driveways, walkways, braai areas and parking bays, matched to what is already there or replaced entirely.

Repairs and levelling

Sunken sections, lifted pavers and pooling water sorted out — often the difference between a tired yard and one that looks maintained.
